Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. was the oldest of four siblings and was born on November 20, 1942, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. In 1953, the Bidens moved to Claymont, Delaware, from Pennsylvania. He participated on the New Castle County Council after earning degrees from the University of Delaware and Syracuse Law School. He was later elected as one of the newest representatives to the US Senate at the youthful age of 29.In his role as the 47th Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden has kept leading on critical national issues and has traveled over 1.2 million miles in order to represent the country in over 50 countries.
