Then, she was mysteriously “abducted” by Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, which sent shockwaves across Westeros. This episode, in the light of being considered an elopement, meant that Brandon and her father, Rickard, went off seeking the Targaryens, and it all turned out to be disastrous since the Mad King executed them.
