Mr. Emhoff is attempting to inform the citizens of this nation and the world about the Biden-Harris Administration’s priorities. Mr. Emhoff has been to 15 nations and 44 states during his tenure in office. During his travels, he has met with Indigenous peoples communities, populations of color, parents, educators, caregivers, health care professionals, legal aid providers, entrepreneurs, and community leaders to hear their stories and to share how the Biden-Harris Administration is helping their families. Being married to the first female vice president and the country’s first Second Gentleman, Mr. Emhoff is well aware of the value and strength of women in leadership roles. He has personally witnessed the distinctions between what having a vice president implies for young girls and boys.
