Buffy the Vampire Slayer

The show was an American supernatural drama television series created by writer and director Joss Whedon. It is unrelated to the 1992 film by Whedon. The show was produced for Mutant Enemy Productions by Whedon as executive producer and showrunner. Buffy the Vampire Slayer aired on the WB from March 10, 1997, and UPN from March 5, 2002, until May 20, 2003.She, played by Sarah Michelle Gellar, is the new designated of many “Vampire Slayers” within this series. The Slayers are chosen for battle with the vampires, demons, and other evil forces of darkness. Buffy wants to continue her mundane existence but soon learns to accept her fate as the series progresses.
